For the first week of 2021, new closed sales and purchase contracts increased compared to the same week in 2020. However, new listing activity was slightly weaker:
  • The week's total new listing volume was lower from a year ago at 96.7%.
  • Closing levels paced at 135.4% from the previous week in 2020

Zillow Discontinues Syndication, Transitions to MLS-Sourced IDX As of January 13, Zillow is now operating as a brokerage in all 50 states and receiving listings through IDX. Syndication is the option to send listings to third-party publishers like realtor.com and Homes.com. Syndication through Bright is based on the principle of 100% broker’s choice. Read more.
