Member Notice from the GAR/GMLS Board of Directors

GAR and GMLS Members,

During these uncertain times, we want to assure you that the health and safety of our members and the community are our number one priority. As such, our Board of Directors is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation to make recommendations for continuing to conduct your business responsibly.

As you are already aware, public gatherings of any kind are currently discouraged, and social distancing is the recommended policy. As of today, the GAR/GMLS Board of Directors has decided to suspend all GMLS Broker and Public Open Houses for this week (3/17-3/22). The GMLS Broker Open House lists for Tuesday and Thursday, and the weekend Public Open House lists will not be published, and any currently scheduled Open Houses for those dates will be cancelled and removed from the FlexMLS system. Please note that this decision does not preclude any member from scheduling individual showings. This situation is fluid, so we will continue to communicate any updates and/or future cancellations.

Additionally, starting Tuesday, March 17th, the GAR/GMLS Team will be working remotely, and the office will be closed until further notice. The service and support of the team will continue to be available via business hours (8:45AM-4:45PM). All listings, changes, requests, and inquiries can be sent to [email protected] for processing. While email is the preferred method for quick support as the team works remotely, you will continue to be able to reach us via 203-869-0240 during business hours.

Should you need to pick up a Keybox, please email the MLS# and Address at which the Keybox will be used to [email protected] . Keyboxes can be requested each day until 4PM, and will be made available on the front railing of the GAR/GMLS Office by 5PM the same day. Your keybox number and unique shackle code will be emailed to you so you can identify your keybox for pickup.
