Medicare MIPS: Oct. 2 is Key Date & New Stratis Health Online Tool
Physicians who want to participate in the first year of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) for a partial year and possibly earn a positive Medicare payment adjustment in 2019 need to begin taking steps now and prepare to capture data starting no later than Oct. 2 (90 days left till year-end). National Mental Illness Awareness Week is Oct. 1-7
The first week in October will be marked by community education efforts in all 50 states to raise awareness that mental illnesses are treatable medical conditions, and that there is help and hope for children and adults with mental illnesses and their families.
