Delta Health Center Announces CADRE Grant from HRSA
Delta Health Center has been awarded a Capital Assistance for Disaster Response and Recovery Efforts (CADRE) grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration in the amount of $1 million, which will fund the construction and expansion of its Dr. Robert Smith Greenville Central Medical Center located at 1414 Hospital Street in Greenville.

With this funding, Delta Health Center plans to construct a new stand-alone structure to replace the existing 58-year-old building, which has housed the clinic since 1990. The current building will be demolished to make room for a larger, modern clinic facility that will provide space to add an additional primary care provider and a new dental clinic, enabling the expansion of services to include dentistry and dental hygiene. “We are excited to have the opportunity to build a larger, more modern clinic space to serve our patients in Greenville and Washington County and to be able to offer dental services to the community,” stated John Fairman, Chief Executive Officer.
