🚨Fraud Alert Scam 🚨
We want to make you aware of a scam where callers are pretending to be ANECA, even showing ANECA Federal Credit Union on the caller ID.
These callers may claim there are card charges or say they’re mailing a new card and then ask you to “verify” information. One Member who reported this scam said the caller even confirmed their exact home address to sound convincing — but something didn’t feel right.
This type of scam is called caller ID spoofing and account verification (impersonation) fraud. The goal is to gain your trust and collect personal or account information.

ANECA will never call asking you to verify sensitive information like account numbers, card details, or one-time codes over the phone.
If you ever feel unsure, hang up and call ANECA directly using the phone number on your card or our official website.
