We're excited by the opportunity to bring more of that community feeling back to the gym while still holding true to our commitment to provide a healthy + safe return to indoor climbing.
On February 1st, our region made the move to Phase 2 of WA State’s "Roadmap to Recovery” plan allowing us to open up MORE RESERVATIONS for members and pass holders! 

  1. Reservations are still required and face masks will continue to be strictly enforced. 
  2. As a courtesy to other members, please do not exceed 4 reservations/week. 
  3. For those looking to extend their training sessions, fitness reservations can be booked back-to-back with a climbing reservation.
  4. And finally, don’t forget to cancel your reservation in advance if you won’t be able to make it!

This is exciting progress but we still need everyone to do their part to keep us moving forward! 

  • Wear your mask! (and double up when you can)
  • Keep your distance. 
  • Limit social interactions.
  • Wash/sanitize hands often.

We will continue to assess the use of space in each facility; making adjustments as needed to maintain a comfortable experience for our members, guests + staff.

In November, we promised to offer free membership freezes "for the duration of the current shutdown order". Upon re-opening on January 11, we chose to extend that offer - taking additional time to re-build our capacity and reservation structure, respond to member feedback and reinstate member benefits and access wherever possible.
Given the progress we've made as a business, community and region, the timeline for the free freeze option is now concluding.
Beginning March 1, the $10/month freeze fee will resume for all frozen memberships. 
We realize this decision might not be right for everyone so please take the time between now and February 28 to consider your options and make the choice that is best for you.
  1. Remain FROZEN at the $10/month freeze fee and avoid paying a startup fee or new membership rate when you come back - no action needed!
  2. UNFREEZE your membership, make a reservation online and join us for an energized session at the gym - action required! 
  3. CANCEL your membership and wait to return when the time is right for you - action required! 
VERY IMPORTANT! All membership changes must be submitted no later than February 28
For those wishing to cancel, you must go online and submit your cancellation request no later than February 28; failure to do so will result in a $10 freeze fee charged to your account on March 1.

To every member who has supported us by continuing to pay a membership fee and/or opted-in to paying a freeze fee already, our words will never be enough to express our sincere gratitude. Your investments in us during this very uncertain time have made a significant impact on our business, our staff, and our entire climbing community.

These past several months of closures and restrictions have been tough on all of us - the status quo is gone, our well-tuned playbooks have all been tossed out the window, and we’re being asked to make/adjust to changes without much notice at all. It hasn’t been easy but one thing remains the same and that’s our commitment to our members, staff and community.

Our work to rebuild and expand our offerings, experiences, facilities and member engagement will continue and with your continued support we will recover as good as - if not better than - before.
We also understand this continues to be a very tough situation for many of you and cancelling your membership might be necessary. If that is the case for you, we truly hope to see you back in the gym when the time is right for you.

NEW! Online Yoga + Fitness Offerings
We’ve revamped our ONLINE fitness classes and introduced new offerings with a new schedule that reflects everything that y’all love:
  • NEW member-only fitness class! Samitha is back teaching her ever popular Core 45 class. Join her on Zoom every Tuesday at 7:15pm and get ready to strengthen your abs, back, obliques and more.
  • MORE weekend yoga! Join Mary on Saturday and/or Hel on Sunday for calming weekend yoga, both classes start at 11am.
  • MORE Facebook Live yoga! If the Zoom class times don't line up with your schedule, you now have even more options to practice with our instructors at ANY time on our Facebook Fitness page.
  • Short form fitness videos! Sometimes a quick 3-minute video from a professional fitness trainer is all you need to jumpstart your workout. Our Facebook Fitness page has these videos too!
IN-PERSON Yoga Returns to Tacoma!
Reservations required. Maximum 5 participants per class. Masks must be worn at all times and participants need to provide their own mats and props. Sign up online!
