What’s TCA been up to?

• Concrete Quest: Our educational initiative continues to grow, with nearly 50 students now participating and learning about the concrete industry. Emma, a sophomore at Heritage High School, recently became the first student in Tennessee to complete Level I of Concrete Quest. TCA gifted her an Amazon gift card for her hard work – congrats, Emma!
• Skate4Concrete Competition: Nearly 50 schools have joined this exciting competition, and we can't wait to see their creative skatepark designs.
• Driver Dash Competition: The competition continues to be a success—join in if you haven't signed up yet to compete against the best in Tennessee.

Concrete Career Academy: "Hit the M.A.R.K."

Video Series

The Hit the M.A.R.K. Video Series is now available in the Concrete Career Academy, offering a helpful tool for team leaders and newer professionals.

Designed to encourage team discussions, this video series includes a Facilitator Guide and worksheets to conduct conversations and deepen understanding of key topics. Plan short weekly or bi-weekly meetings with your team to watch, discuss, and reinforce skills that can help reduce turnover.

Support Local Students With TCA’s Skate4Concrete Sponsorship and Explore Our New Interactive Map!

TCA is excited to share our new interactive map highlighting schools involved in the Skate4Concrete (S4C) initiative. This innovative program uses skateboarding to introduce students to careers in concrete, showing how skateparks are built and concrete's important role in construction.

Check out the interactive map to see which schools are participating and looking for sponsors! Schools marked with blue pins are actively seeking TCA member companies to help them build mini skateparks for our annual competition. Sponsoring a school is a fantastic way to give back and connect with the next generation of concrete professionals.
