Dear GAR/GMLS Members,

Yesterday, CTR provided guidance related to the Lamont Administration on “Essential Business” order of March 22, 2020 . Please take a moment to read this guidance, which includes Essential vs. Non Essential Activities for real estate agents. Please note that this Guidance is expected to be supplemented and amended by the Administration, DECD, CDC, and others as we are in an ever-changing situation. We will continue to communicate to GAR members as they are made available.

The GMLS has received a number of questions about Days on Market on listings during this uncertain time period. If a seller has chosen to temporarily disallow showings, the property listing should be put into a Withdrawn status. While a listing is Withdrawn, days on market do not accrue. Owner authorization is needed to withdraw a listing, which can be provided via email, or on a change form (which is available in TransactionDesk for obtaining electronic authorization). Please ensure the email or change form includes authorization from all owners of the property included on the listing.

The GAR/GMLS Team remains fully available to assist you in your remote working needs. We’ll be scheduling ongoing training sessions highlighting GMLS Tools as well as other applications you may find useful in adapting to a remote working environment. Have any suggestions? Let us know by emailing [email protected]

Please register for the following upcoming trainings:

In an effort to provide comprehensive communication, we have also created the following resource page on greenwichrealtors.com for our members including all updates from GAR/GMLS Leadership, as well as other useful resources, tools, and information.

Please stay connected, and let us know how we can continue to provide assistance.
