Thank you for joining us for yesterday's Virtual Information Session discussing the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Stimulus (CARES) Act. The recording of the meeting, along with the slide deck and resource links has been made available on the GAR COVID-19 Resource Page .

As discussed in the meeting, the National Association of REALTORS® has been working closely with Congress and the Administration to ensure the interests of REALTORS® and their clients are protected in any federal action in response to COVID-19. The CARES Act appropriates more than $360 billion total for new Small Business Administration (SBA) programs- the 7(a) Paycheck Protection Program loans, and the Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) advance grants program. Last Thursday's recorded seminar on Landlord/Tenant Issues amid COVID-19 is also available on the GAR's COVID-19 Resource Page . Please be aware that Executive Order 7X was enacted the following day (4/10), which addresses renter protection during the pandemic emergency order. CTR then issued Guidance Related to Rent Payments and Evictions for Residential Renters on 4/11. You may wish to review and share this information with your landlord and tenant clients so they understand how this order may affect them.

Lastly, if you are the listing agent of a current Rental listing, please be sure that the 'Furnishings' field is filled out accurately for your listing. Given the uptick in Rental activity, this will allow for more efficient prospecting of listings by your peers. The 'Furnishings' field and values can be found by going to Edit Listing>Listing Information>Details, then make your selection and click Save Changes. We plan to make this a required field for all Rental listings soon.
