Economic Development Cowichan is creating roadmaps to improved internet and cellular connectivity for four of Cowichan’s most underserved communities.
If you live, work, or have interests in one of these areas, then we need your help to understand your community’s digital aspirations and what’s holding you back. Join us for an in-person conversation to explore ways that connectivity and technology can enhance your community or business, and discuss barriers that need to be overcome to achieve your digital goals.
“We’re excited to discover how connectivity and technology can protect and augment what people love about these communities,” said Brittany Taylor, Acting Manager of Economic Development Cowichan. “One community might be interested in using agricultural technology to improve the livelihoods of farmers, while another may want to enable home-based businesses to reach customers around the world. Tourism, remote healthcare and education, and emergency response are some other topics that might come up.”
