At Cape Abilities, we are all family, and family helps one another. We need your help…we simply cannot do what we do without you.
As we are staying in our homes and socially distancing ourselves to reduce the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, many of our less-visible but most vulnerable neighbors living in our resident homes across the Cape are in especially challenging positions. So far, you have donated more than $95,000 to our Adopt A Home appeal, and that generous support helped us bridge the financial gap last week alone. And yet, the stark reality is that as long as this challenge is in front of us, we have to keep going, because our residents and staff need our help.
Today, the 130 residents in Cape Abilities homes are fully dependent upon the men and women who live with them, providing them with care and emotional support every day, around the clock. Each of these special staff members make the difficult choice to leave their families in order to live with our residents who depend upon them…and we need to ensure that they will be compensated for their extraordinary commitment.

From The Women’s Club of New Seabury:
During these difficult times, the Women’s Club Executive Board has been busy continuing to support our Cape Cod community.
Our generous members answered our request for contributions so that we could continue to donate to local agencies that provide food for the needy. Thanks to members’ open hearts, we were able to donate over $6,500.00 to the food pantries of Christ the King/St. Vincent de Paul and the Falmouth Service Center. A sincere thank you to all who donated.

The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center has partnered with the MassINC Polling Group and others to conduct an important statewide survey about how the coronavirus has impacted small businesses in Massachusetts. We are asking for your input to ensure that economic recovery programs and policies are informed by your current needs.
This survey is for small businesses with 500 employees or less. It’s available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole and Mandarin. It should take less than 10 minutes of your time. Your answers will be analyzed together with other responses and will never be used to identify you personally. This survey will be open for a short period of time, so please respond as soon as possible.
Thank you very much for participating in this important initiative. Please feel free to share this survey with other Massachusetts business owners to ensure wide representation.
