Caroline Spillane CDir | Tuesday, 5 November 2024

Dear Anne,

Leading in Governance 2024, our flagship conference, saw more than 400 IoD Ireland members join us at the iconic Aviva Stadium for an afternoon of learning, discussion and relationship building. Thank you to everyone who attended. Your enthusiasm made this year's event another huge success. You can find more conference highlights below to relive the inspiring moments and takeaways.

We also recently published new research on Tech Governance, which included new findings on Cyber security (including NIS2) and AI. One key finding is that 41% of directors are not aware of their personal liability for severe organisational non-compliance with cybersecurity rules as detailed in NIS2. We will continue to support our members on these compliance needs through our online content and live workshops and events, as well as through our partnership with the NSCS and other key Government bodies.

Our members are the driving force behind IoD Ireland. We value your role and contribution to our organisation. To ensure we continue to meet your needs as directors, the membership renewal fee for 2025 will increase; allowing us to continue to deliver a high standard of service, support and advocacy to you now and in the future. More details are provided below.

In this edition of our ezine, you will also find information about our upcoming workshops, events, and resources tailored specifically for our members.

Best wishes,

Caroline Spillane CDir
