Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE), member of the House Ways & Means Committee's Subcommittee on Health and a lead sponsor on one of NAHU’s federal priorities, the Common Sense Reporting Act of 2021 (H.R. 5318), will be joining us to discuss the importance of easing compliance reporting requirements for employers offering health insurance coverage to their employees.
Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL), a registered nurse representing Illinois’ 14th District and member of the House Education & Labor Committee, will be in attendance to discuss her continued bipartisan efforts to improve maternal healthcare.
Lead sponsor on the NAHU-advocated H.R. 3650, Improving Access to Medicare Coverage Act of 2021, Rep. Ron Estes (R-KS) will highlight the importance of having observation stays be counted toward the three-day mandatory inpatient stay for Medicare coverage of a skilled nursing facility.
