Love Does: Let's take the next step
A huge thanks to Circle 58 members and their special friends who attended the 2017 Circle 58 Inaugural Dinner  last week featuring keynote speaker Bob Goff. We hope Bob's over-the-top presentation and challenge to practically love others inspired all of us to live the Love Does theme with gusto in 2017.
Several of you asked how you can participate in addition to Circle 58.  Here are some idea starters that are needed now,  and make sure to keep scrolling down to view event photos, for more bracelet information and 2017 events:

Next Steps & Idea Starters
  1. Learn more about The Gatehouse at a GIG (Gatehouse Informational Gathering).  Register online for the March 7 or April 11 tour.
  2. Help raise funds for the new  early learning center and childcare academy . Read more here .
  3. Host a party or event where you do something you love to do to
raise funds for an aspect of the childcare academy: naming a room, purchasing toys, furniture, appliances, etc.  Thanks to Kari Mawn and her TableTops team for already funding both the playgrounds!
  4. The Tarrant County taxpayer spends $55,000 per year to support a family with all possible government services. At The Gatehouse, our cost thus far has been
$35,000 per family. Consider Adopting a Family -- great project for individuals, families, groups or your office.
  5. Sponsor an apartment for $2,800, which includes everything from spatulas to shower curtains.
  6.   Register to be a  volunteer -- orientations take place in person or virtually.
  7. Email Randi Worsham if you'd like to participate in the Circle 58 Christmas Giving Tree project for Gatehouse women and children.
  8. Share Circle 58 with the men in your life so they can honor the woman in their life with a membership. Great for Moms, daughters, employees who deserve an award. Send him this link.
Our motto when we shop: One for us, and one for a Gatehouse family!  When doing your own shopping, just add another item or more to your cart for Gatehouse families. We always need:
  • Staple supplies for the General Store (laundry detergent, trash bags)
  • New plus-size clothes; new shoes, sizes 5-12.
  • Gift cards, $25 & $50 denominations
  • Apartments accessories (table & floor lamps, wall hangings)
  • Legal aid, family lawyers to donate services
You can also support The Gatehouse when you shop on Amazon. We receive a portion of your sales when you use Amazon Smile: go to and support projectHandUp. You can also select items off our Amazon wish list here, which are shipped directly to The Gatehouse.

Thanks for all you do and always know you are appreciated by Gatehouse members and staff.
