MEMBERSHIP INTAKE TRAINER PRE-CERTIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

The National Scholarship and Standards Committee is pleased to launch the 2024 Membership Intake Trainer Pre-Certification Process. The Membership Intake Trainer Pre-Certification provides a standardized process and consistent certification process for all seven Regional Directors to select Membership Intake Trainers.

Regional Directors, in collaboration with their respective National Scholarship and Standards member, will select a group of applicants to attend an eight (8) hour Membership Intake “Train the Trainer” pre-certification session. The “Train the Trainer” pre-certification session, conducted by the National Scholarship and Standards Committee, will be held during the 2024 Regional Conference Cycle (see dates below). The pre-certification session will be specific to the Membership Intake process and provide pertinent information to share with chapters during training. Members who are invited to attend pre-certification training must register to attend Regional Conference. 

Please note the Membership Intake Trainer Pre-Certification process requires all trainers, regardless of previous certification/standings, to complete the application and be selected by the Regional Director in order to proceed.

The Membership Intake Trainer application is accessible via the link below. The application must be submitted by 11:59 pm EDT on March 23, 2024. The Regional Director will notify the selected trainers who are approved to attend the “Train the Trainer” pre-certification session on or before April 15, 2024. After your notification of approval, you will receive details regarding the registration fee which will include lunch and other pertinent information.

Certificate of Completion and Certification:

You will be eligible to be appointed as a Regional Membership Intake Trainer by the Regional Director after you have successfully completed the following:

• “Train the Trainer” Pre-Certification
• Membership Intake Training Assessment
• Membership Intake Facilitation Skills Assessment - this information will be provided during the “Train the Trainer” session.
