Chronicling a remarkable discovery in the badlands of Hell Creek in the summer of 2023, this immersive giant screen film explores the life and times of the Greatest of All Tyrants - the GOAT.

TyRUNnosaurus is Coming September 15 | |
Get ready to run like the dinos! Presented by Lovelace Medical Center, TyRUNnosaurus is back for the 5th year, and we're ready to see you in your running gear (or your dino gear!). Join us on Sunday, September 15 for a family friendly fun-filled morning. Race registrants even get free entry to the museum on race day by showing their race bib.
Register now for your choice of a 5K, Kids K, Kids 1-Mile, or Family 1-Mile Walk. Prices go up on August 18, so register now for your discounted price.

Back for a Limited Time: Nikon Small World |
Returning to the Museum, the Nikon Small World exhibition showcases the best in microscopic photography. Each year, this traveling exhibition showcases the winners of annual Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition, which was established in 1974 to recognize excellence in photography through the microscope. This year, the exhibition features the top selections from the 49th annual Small World competition.
Nikon Small World is included with museum admission and will be on view through September 8.

STEAM Trek virtual field trips for the 2024-2025 school year are coming soon. Start planning a virtual field trip for your classroom today. Trips include:
