Registration is now open statewide for free virtual field trips.


STEAM Trek virtual field trips are a great way to get your class excited about natural history and science, and are free thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.


Each trip includes a 40-minute film with teacher notes and classroom activities, plus a classroom Discovery Box with logo gifts and Verus Research DynaTheater tickets for each child.

Public Lecture: Conserving America's Wildlands

Join us on Thursday, October 24 at the special exhibit Conserving America's Wildlands for a lecture by Museum Executive Director Anthony Fiorillo, Ph.D., and Curator of Exhibits Matt Celeskey, with guest speaker Jonathan Hayden, Executive Director of the New Mexico Land Conservancy, who will discuss the conservation easement on the Armendariz Ranch in New Mexico.
