Critical Needs Initiative Launches
Season of Giving
Nourish Our Neighbors in Need
|
|
Our Civic responsibility to help those who are hurting is a call to action during this holiday season and throughout the New Year of 2021.
Through our Critical Needs Initiative Committee, the Palm Beach Civic Association will continue efforts to raise funds to provide healthy food from our local farms to the hungry in our community throughout the coming spring.
"As a result of the pandemic the need for food in Palm Beach County has increased tremendously’ shared Jim Greco, Interim CEO of the Palm Beach County Food Bank. “While we live in a county of abundance in both wealth and food production the fact remains that one in five of folks in our community are in need of food assistance. The Save Our Produce initiative of the Palm Beach Civic Association in the spring made a big impact for farmers and the hungry then. This latest initiative comes at an opportune time as County and Federal food assistance programs are winding down."
Will you help? 100% of your contribution will go toward providing food to families and individuals in the greatest need. Click here to donate, or contact our office at
561-725-4002.

Architect, and Civic Association member Nelo Freijomel commented “This award is one of the most prestigious available in the world of classical architecture and was in the back of my mind throughout the entire design process.
