Show off your Pack at the Durham Bulls Camp Out Nights

Is your Cub Scout Pack excited to pitch a tent on the Durham Bulls field? Get ready for Camp Out Nights on June 14 and July 26! This is an exciting and memorable activity for the Cubs. It’s also a great time to attract attention to your Pack! There will be a pre-game parade – be sure to wear your Class A or B uniforms and carry a banner with your Pack website on it. There will also be a Camp Out slideshow (photos must be sent at least two weeks in advance). Can you add your Pack website at the bottom of your photo before you send it in?

Volunteers needed: Help us talk about Scouting

at the Durham Bulls on June 14

At each of the Durham Bulls Camp Out Nights, we will also have an opportunity to promote Scouting at a designated marketing table. We’re looking for a couple of enthusiastic adults and youth in uniform to join us to talk up Scouting and pass out stickers and candy on June 14 at the 6:35pm game. Join us for a one-hour shift and then return to watching the game. Can you join us? Contact Katie Kross to volunteer.

Invite guests to your end-of-year awards & summer activities

Are you planning an end-of-year Pack or Troop activity like a campfire, picnic/potluck, or awards ceremony?  Planning to take your pack on a hike this summer?  These are great times to invite friends, neighbors, and prospective Scouts for a visit to meet families and see how much fun Scouting is!

Marketing materials available - we’ll bring them to you!

Does your unit need flyers, Cub Scout cards, pencils or other marketing materials?  We’ll bring them to you!  Contact Katie Kross to arrange for a drop-off.

Are you involved with membership and recruiting for your Troop or Pack?  We’d love to have you join the District Membership Committee!  We’ll collaborate on marketing and membership activities across the District so that each unit is not “reinventing the wheel.”  We meet by Zoom on the first Friday of each month at 9am.  Contact Justin Sprague if interested in joining.
