A Message from The National CCAA Board of Directors
The National CCAA Board of Directors offers you, our members, these comforting words during this time. Click here to find out which board member is in each picture.

"Start by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible." – Saint Francis of Assisi
Dear National CCAA Members:

I know that we are all making decisions that we have never had to make before in regards to our students, yield and recruitment events, staff travel, in-person classes, etc. Please know that the Board of Directors and I are right there with you as we all struggle through these unanticipated challenges to our jobs and institutions.

Normally during this time of year, our National CCAA staff would be sending membership renewal information since our current membership cycle is due to end on June 30, 2020. However, we are extending the current membership cycle at no additional charge for two months. Therefore, the current membership cycle will end on August 31, 2020.

In regards to the new membership cycle beginning on September 1, we are working towards modifying our membership benefits in light of the pandemic to include more tools and options, including virtual opportunities, that will help our members connect to counselors, other members, and students. Once we have these benefits and a new membership cycle in place, we will reach back to you.

As you are aware, we are now needing to change the way we have done many things in college admission. While we are used to frequent change in our industry, we have never encountered so many big and immediate disruptions, with more questions and concerns from students, parents, counselors, and even ourselves. The Board and I are hopeful that with the new membership cycle, we will have the strongest connection of professional resources to guide all of us through these difficult changes. The National CCAA is the only organization that has a plethora of Catholic college admission professionals with expert knowledge, compassion, and guidance that needs to be shared. We believe that we can make our mission of promoting what our Catholic colleges and universities offer even better.

We thank you for your continued commitment to our organization and to Catholic higher education. Please stay tuned for an update about the new membership cycle. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me or our Executive Director, Joyce Masek, with any questions.

Take care of each other and be well,

Tracy
