The Wyoming Legislature is nearly finished with the 2021 session. Due to the two snow days taken earlier in the session, the legislature will recess for a three-day weekend and reconvene April 6-7 for two final days. These days will be primarily spent on concurrences, conference committees, and awaiting Governor actions on bills in the event they want to override vetoes.
WMS worked hard this session on behalf of our members. A comprehensive 2021 legislative summary that covers highlights and key takeaways from the session is now available for your reading pleasure.
We would be remiss if we didn't express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the leadership of the House and Senate and chairmen of the committees with whom we work so closely. This session wasn't an easy one and they did a tremendous job of leading with grace and using their experience and wisdom to guide the actions of the legislature. Please make an effort to thank your legislators for the work they do and give an extra hat tip to the members of leadership listed below. Thank you!
