WMS is responsible for identifying Wyoming physicians for appointment to the Wyoming Admissions Committee for the University of Washington School of Medicine’s WWAMI medical education program. The Wyoming Admissions Committee is comprised of four Wyoming physician members appointed to staggered three-year terms with an option to serve an additional three years. Admissions committee members are responsible for interviewing those Wyoming applicants who have met certain academic criteria for admission to medical school.

By electing thoughtful legislators who value education, training and expertise, WMS staff and physicians can foster relationships and create partnerships to hold the line on important policies and advance efforts to protect and build a strong healthcare delivery system in Wyoming.

By contributing to WYOPAC, you will substantially enhance WMS' advocacy efforts. WYOPAC promotes and strives for the improvement of government by encouraging and stimulating physicians to take a more active part in government affairs.

The 2022 election will be one of our most important elections. Wyoming is witnessing unprecedented turnover and there's never been a more critical time to elect the right leaders to take Wyoming into the future.

Members of WYOPAC are invited to all meetings of the PAC where decisions about candidate contributions and endorsements are made. WMS will again create an election guide similar to what we published in 2020 (WMS 2020 Election Guide) identifying candidates whom WMS believes will do right by Wyoming patients and their doctors.
