Memorial Bench Dedication & Ice Cream Social in Springfield

After almost five years, the Patrice A. Booze Memorial Bench has been set and will be dedicated on July 16, 2023 at 1:00 P.M.

The bench also celebrates the over 125 years of service to our communities given by the members of the GFWC Ohio Federation of Women's Clubs.

Acknowledgements

The wording on the bench also acknowledges the work and dedication of the Woman's Town Club and the Springfield City Federation of Women's Clubs for preserving the home of our founder, Clementine Barry Buchwalter in 1894.

The TRIAD Club should also be thanked for their dedication to our home and founder.

Patrice A. Booze 9/17/51-9/14/18

Patrice was a dedicated GFWC member and left this world better than she found it. One of her favorite sayings was from Mother Teresa “Be the change you want to see in the world” and she strived to do exactly that.
