Memorial Day 5/24/26

2 First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people,

 2 for [a]kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 

3 This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 

4 who [b]wishes all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the [divine] truth. 

5 For there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus, 

6 who gave Himself as a ransom [a substitutionary sacrifice to atone] for all, the testimony given at the right and proper time.

It would be folly to wish/say to any who GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE, HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!

ALL GAVE SOME-SOME GAVE ALL!!

BUT, we all, (I HOPE/PRAY) well understand the meaning of this holy day-the day we give THANKS to those who fought, bled and died so that WE can enjoy this holiday....

Personally, and THANKFULLY, I only know of one person who gave his life in Vietnam and the one person who led me to the Lord that lost his leg in the same war.

AGAIN, THANK YOU TO ALL THE VETERANS TODAY!!!

I AWAKE (thank You Jesus for awakening again) everyday now with THANKFULLNESS!!!!!

EVERY DAY IS A PRESENT-A GIFT OF GOD!!!! EVERYDAY!!!!!

OUR Bible very clearly instructs EACH of us to do this and:

⁴Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

“ENTER INTO HIS GATES WITH THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!

I also try to read daily these Psalms-105,106,107-Psalms of THANKSGIVING!!

The news this week is mourning the loss of Kyle Busch who SUDDENLY and tragically died of sepsis. Sadly, I am well aware of this danger as my Lil' Amanda has battled this twice in the last few months.

Thus and THANKFULLY, so far, she, and we have survived-PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE AND CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HER!!!!!

All week I have AWOKEN, (see above) to SINGING in my heart Psalm 100 and the song listed above.

IT IS A GOOD DAY TODAY TO SIMPLY BE ALIVE!!!!

The weather here is Georgia is dreadful-rainy and overcast and many a Bar-B-Que is ruined and outdoor activities curtailed for many, BUT...................

LET'S GET ALL EXCITED, GO TELL EVERYBODY THAT JESUS CHRIST IS KING!!!!!

JESUS CHRIST IS STILL THE KING OF KINGS!!!!

Today, I AM THANKFUL to be here-STILL-and that I can go in the house TODAY and watch the series of EVERWOOD on CD with Lil' Amanda-in fact, I think I see the sun peeking through!!!!
