Honoring OLLI's Past Presidents
This week we honor
Lorraine Vail (2016-2017). Lorraine returned to SOU after being a student here in the 70s. Her first contribution was a garden redesign. Her first Council role was as treasurer. While on the Council, Lorraine guided the Strategic Plan Task Force for 1 ½ years, developing a comprehensive 5-year plan to facilitate growth, improve facilities, and improve member support and satisfaction. 85% of the initiatives in that plan are under way or completed. Lorraine is co-leading the Future Space Needs Committee with the goal that “OLLI will have a home with a look and feel as wonderful as the classes.”
