This year's Memorial Day Parade will be held this Saturday, May 29th starting at 9 AM. The route for the parade is from St. Paul’s Church (485 Alling Street), eastbound along Farmington Avenue to Massirio Drive, left onto Massirio Drive and left onto Veterans Way to the park itself.

The parade steps off at 9 am and the Berlin Police Department will begin shutting down Farmington Avenue about 5-10 minutes before 9. Farmington Avenue will be re-opened as the parade is through an area.

The spot where there may be some back-up is between the Farmington Avenue entrance to Stop N Shop to Massirio Drive to Veterans Way. This is due to the fact that the parade may have both entrances closed as the parade route is going along Farmington Avenue, but has not yet gotten to Veterans Way.

The expectation is that the entire parade will be completed and all roads fully opened by 10:30 AM.
