Adult Instruction- Please Join Us!
Church Library
9:45 AM
We are studying the basic teachings of the Christian faith. Please join us!
Why should you come to this class?
1. To learn more about the basic teachings of the Christian religion.
2. To reaffirm your faith
3. To join Memorial Lutheran Church as a member
4. To learn what your children are being taught at Memorial Lutheran School
Pastor Murray teaches the class in the church library every Sunday morning, between the services, until mid-January. The class will meet from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM.
If Christ's Word is proclaimed; His suffering, His death, and His resurrection, then pastors will be giving to God's people the whole and divine truth, not the syrupy sweet pabulum of entertainment. God's people will live rather than being entertained to death. These purely human traditions have to be done away with in the church, or Christ will be null and void among us. Lord, let your Word grow among us!
Substitute teachers, for both Elementary and Middle School classes. $85 per day. Must have a desire to teach elementary and middle school students and be flexible with schedule. Previous teaching experience and understanding of classical education preferred, as well as knowledge of the Lutheran faith. Most days are scheduled in advance, with an occasional emergency sub request.
Babyland substitute teachers and part-time after school substitute teachers needed. Must enjoy working with children, and be willing to be hands-on. If you would like to be considered for this on-call opportunity, please email Tiffanie Conchola so that we can run your background check and set up your fingerprint appointment.
If you have suggestions about things that you'd like to see in the Memorial Messenger, please let the office staff know. We would love to hear from you.
