Annual Easter Egg Hunt
MLS Playground, Easter Sunday 10:20 AM

All children are invited. Please meet in the school gym at 10:20 AM with your Easter basket! 6th-8th graders: If you would like to serve as a helper, please meet on the school playground at 10:00 AM to help hide eggs.

Anyone interested in donating plastic, pre-filled eggs, please leave your donations in one of the boxes located in the Commons or School Office by Friday, 19 April (Good Friday).

*Candy should be wrapped, peanut-free, and safe to eat/not a choking hazard for children under 3 (i.e., no Gobstoppers, Laffy Taffy, etc.) Easter stickers, stamps, and bubbles are a great idea for stuffing eggs.
From the Pastor
The Loss of All Things
St. Paul reflected on the gift of Jesus in his life: "I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him" (Philippians 3:8-9). The gospel is the only thing that is truly valuable. Everything else is rubbish. I think the word "rubbish" is far too tame. It is somewhat stronger than just "rubbish." Paul could be as salty as Luther. Paul was willing to die for this Christ. And he did. The same Jesus still lives and reigns to all eternity. He is still worth dying for. He who was crucified for you is calling you. Your life and salvation are found under the cross and suffering. All the rest can be lost.
