WHO Withdraws 12 of Biden’s “Sovereignty” Amendments to IHR; May Revisit Them Later
The global backlash against the proposed amendments to the WHO’s International Health Treaty (IHR) — which would have ceded national sovereignty over to globalists — along with legal actions in the United Kingdom have resulted in almost all of those amendments being dropped for the time being. There is nothing, however, to prevent the global overlords from revisiting the agenda.
According to independent journalist James Roguski, who monitored the hearings, 12 of the 13 amendments submitted by the Biden administration for a vote in the World Health Assembly (WHA) this week in Geneva have been removed from consideration.
On his substack post explaining the developments, Roguski added that it is crucial to keep pushing against the global power grab by urging legislators to take action, and by spreading the word and sharing the information “WITH EVERYONE.”

Bipartisan Senate group forms to break impasse on gun legislation
A small group of Democratic and Republican senators have formed a bipartisan negotiating group in hopes of reaching a modest deal on gun control legislation, but they don’t have much time to hammer out their differences.
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a leading advocate for expanded background checks, hosted seven colleagues in a basement office in the Capitol Thursday afternoon for what participants described as an “organizational” meeting.
Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.),
Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) attended the meeting in person. Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) joined by telephone.
Murphy later told a reporter that the group has a total of 10 members, evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats.

Docs Reveal Secret U.S. Plans for Apocalyptic Scenarios
WASHINGTON — Newly disclosed documents have shed a crack of light on secret executive branch plans for apocalyptic scenarios — like the aftermath of a nuclear attack — when the president may activate wartime powers for national security emergencies.
Until now, public knowledge of what the government put into those classified directives, which invoke emergency and wartime powers granted by Congress or otherwise claimed by presidents, has been limited to declassified descriptions of those developed in the early Cold War. In that era, they included steps like imposing martial law, rounding up people deemed dangerous and censoring news from abroad.
It has not been clear what is in the modern directives — known as presidential emergency action documents — because under administrations of both parties, none have been made public or shown to Congress. But the newly disclosed documents, which relate to the George W. Bush administration’s efforts to revise the draft orders after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, offer clues.

Leftists Are About to Kill Millions of People Right Before Our Eyes
Sometimes something is so horrifying that you simply cannot process it – your brain tells you that it’s not real,that it can’t be real, but the horror now approaching us is all too real. Millions of people are likely to starve to death in the next year – we know it’s coming, we know why, and yet our garbage ruling caste is paralyzed. Inflation, particularly of fossil fuels, and the crop failures caused by lack of fertilizers (again, exacerbated by lack of fossil fuels), will mean mass starvation. Oh, when the TV is filled with pictures of skeletal kids, the regime adherents will rage at us for letting this happen, but they are the architects of this massacre. And they could stop it, if they wanted to, by opening up America’s oil tap.
But they are choosing not to act to stop it.
Not because all of them necessarily prefer that millions of people, primarily in the Third World, to die, though some are certainly not all that displeased. After all, their hideous ideology butchered 100 million people in the last century. But the elite will accept it as the cost of their rule.

In Brief: Supervillains Gather in Davos
“Why can’t our leaders imagine anything other than a future of privation and control?” wonders Michael Brendan Dougherty in an article about the latest World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He doesn’t try to prove or debunk any theories about what’s going on, but he does marvel that leaders who attend the conference keep feeding the worst fears of humanity.
The World Economic Forum is a perennial subject for conspiracy theorists and QAnon people, having long since eclipsed the Trilateral Commission, the Bildeberg Group, and Bohemian Grove. The 2020 confab at Davos was billed as “The Great Reset” and promoted the ideas of German industrialist Klaus Schwab for rebuilding society and the economy after the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s from the creepy WEF promotional videos making “8 Predictions For the World in 2030” that the menacing phrase, You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy, emerged.
Davos is an invaluable networking opportunity for its participants. It allows CEOs a nice chance to lobby the U.S. government for help and warn the Irish prime minister about raising taxes all over the same lunch.

Governors Say ‘No Way’ to Biden Plans To Empower Pro-China Health Organization
Republican governors Ron DeSantis (Fla.), Glenn Youngkin (Va.), and Kristi Noem (S.D.) denounced the Biden administration's proposed amendments to the World Health Organization's International Health Regulations.
"We in Florida, there is no way we will ever support this WHO thing," DeSantis said Monday. "No way."
The amendments would change WHO's surveillance methods, allowing the organization to "develop early warning criteria for assessing and progressively updating the national, regional, or global risk posed by an event of unknown causes or sources." WHO would provide member nations with assessments that indicate "the level of risk of potential spread and risks of potential serious public health impacts, based on assessed infectiousness and severity of the illness."
The amendments would also change how WHO determines public health emergencies. While the previous regulations task the organization's director-general and each member nation with determining a crisis, the amendments delegate that power solely to the director-general. The amendments also allow the director-general to issue an intermediate public health alert if he deems that a crisis requires international awareness, even if it doesn't meet international public health emergency standards.
DeSantis is not the only governor wary of the amendments.

Disclosed: How Obama Administration Officials Conducted Shadow Diplomacy With Iran To Undermine Trump
Senior Obama administration officials engaged in a secret meeting with Iran in 2018 as part of an effort to undermine the Trump administration's diplomatic push to isolate the hardline regime, according to an internal State Department document.
As the Trump administration worked to increase economic pressure on Iran in 2018, a delegation of "U.S. former ambassadors held a secret, "off-the-record" meeting with former Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif at his residence in New York City, according to a State Department memo unearthed this week as part of a lawsuit brought to compel the release of this information. The meeting took place around the same time John Kerry was reported to be working behind-the-scenes with Iranian officials to salvage the 2015 nuclear accord.
The internal memo, which is marked unclassified, details how these former U.S. ambassadors conducted shadow diplomacy with Iran's top envoy surrounding "nuclear weapons, potential prisoner swaps, [the] Afghanistan withdrawal, and negotiations with the Taliban," according to the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), a legal advocacy group that sued the State Department to obtain the internal memo.
The document is the firmest proof to date that Obama-era officials were engaged in back-channel efforts to keep negotiations with Iran alive, even as former president Donald Trump and his administration worked to isolate the regime, former secretary of state Mike Pompeo told the Free Beacon in exclusive remarks.

I bet Don Lemon only prays when there is a mass shooting. “Please, God, let the gunman be white.”
The lefty sitzpinkler at CNN came up with snake eyes yesterday because the shooter is Hispanic. That changes the narrative for the left. Here is their playbook:
- When the shooter is white, the problem is “white supremacy.” White people are evil and here is the proof.
- When the shooter is a minority, blame easy access to guns, usually by attacking the NRA, which is run by “selfish, conservative, white, gun nuts.” The race of the shooter has nothing to do with it. Bury the story and move along.
So, now the harridans from The View have their show prep for the next few days: go after the “gun lobby,” Republican politicians, and those big, scary “assault rifles,” or as they now call them, “weapons of war.”
Anyone engaging in this sort of boring drivel doesn’t really want to stop the problem of mass shootings. They want to take our guns and have Republicans voted out. Gun-grabbers have no problem standing on the bodies of dead people, even kids, to get what they want.

Justices decline to block Biden policy on social costs of greenhouse gases
The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a plea from Louisiana and nine other states to bar federal agencies from considering the social costs of greenhouse gases as part of their decision-making process. In a brief, unsigned order, the justices declined to reinstate a district-court ruling that had temporarily blocked the Biden administration from using the cost estimates. There were no dissents recorded from Thursday’s order.
The dispute in which the justices declined to intervene began last year, after President Joe Biden – on his first day in office – signed an executive order that revived an agency, formed during the Obama administration but disbanded during the Trump administration, known as the Interagency Working Group on the Social Cost of Greenhouse Gases. The executive order gave the working group the power to issue estimates on the “social costs” of greenhouse gases and required federal agencies to include these estimates in each cost-benefit analysis for new regulations. The working group issued interim estimates in February 2021.
States with Republican governors or attorneys general challenged the policy. They called the order and the estimates a “power grab designed to manipulate America’s entire federal regulatory apparatus through speculative costs and benefits so that the Administration can impose its preferred policy outcomes on every sector of the American economy.”

More than 80 House Members Want TPS for 1.5 Million Central Americans
More than 80 members of the House of Representatives have signed a letter calling for Temporary Protected Status for an estimated 1.5 million aliens from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Most of the 1.5 million are currently living here in illegal status.
Representatives Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) and Adriano Espaillat (D-N.Y.) led the effort, saying that the special status was needed because of ongoing political conflicts in the area, Covid-19, and two hurricanes that happened 18 months ago.
TPS, unlike a legislative amnesty, is created by presidential fiat; it requires no congressional approval. It is a temporary measure and makes previously illegal aliens safe from deportation and allows for the issuance of temporary work permits. In many instances, this “temporary” status has been renewed, usually in 18-month increments; in several cases these renewals total decades of non-enforcement.
Three of the four nations already have TPS in place because of one or more previous rounds of TPS status; Guatemala would be new to the system. With the three nations, the proposal would cover large populations of illegal aliens not now eligible under the older rulings.

Thoughts For Memorial Day 2022
Four days a year a special American flag flew from a tall loblolly pine in my family's front yard.
Every Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day and every Veterans Day, my father would get up early then wake me, my sisters and younger brother.
We would traipse into the front yard, yawning in Houston's early morning humidity, in summer standing barefoot on St. Augustine grass, on Veterans Day wearing shoes in November's cooler weather.
Then Dad would tie the flag to the rope, one of us would give the rope a pull, and the huge wall of red, white and blue cloth would rise and billow as it rose, the only sound a pulley 35 feet up the pine creaking with each tug.
Hands covered hearts and we'd salute. Two minutes later, we kids would head back to bed. Dad might get a cup of coffee then oil the lawn mower. By 10 o'clock the mower and I would be cutting grass below the flag.
I said the flag was special. The flag had 49 stars, which made it an oddity of sorts, but the fact it had draped my Grandfather Bay's casket made it a particularly significant treasure.
My grandfather died in San Antonio in 1960 and was buried at Fort Sam Houston a National Guard colonel, a veteran of two world wars and the on and off "Mexican border campaign" that ran from 1910 to 1916.

Biden's Gushy Lunch With Thomas Friedman
President Joe Biden's minders have kept their man away from granting interviews — with reporters who overwhelmingly voted for him. Republicans went on Twitter to mock Biden when he reached 100 days since his last interview on Feb. 10. This is a pattern. Biden sat for just 28 interviews during his first year in office, compared with 168 for President Barack Obama — and 95 for President Donald Trump, who reporters hated with white-hot intensity.
This is not just TV interviews but print interviews, too.
Instead, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman just wrote a column about grabbing lunch with Biden at the White House — off the record. He said the tuna sandwich was great, and the chocolate shake was amazing. But he couldn't divulge what was said. He insisted Biden is tremendously capable and competent.
"For all you knuckleheads on Fox who say that Biden can't put two sentences together, here's a news flash," Friedman wrote. "He just put NATO together, Europe together and the whole Western alliance together — stretching from Canada up to Finland and all the way to Japan — to help Ukraine protect its fledgling democracy from Vladimir Putin's fascist assault."

Guns, Violence, Mental Illness and Solutions
PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox — we all recognize these names and know the iconic brands that are behind them (Sony and Microsoft). In fact, almost every American has probably had their hands on one of their controllers at some point.
The gaming industry and game systems themselves have advanced since the days of the Atari, and as a result, the impact that they're having on kids today is distinctly different from merely providing a source of entertainment. Today, games such as "Grand Theft Auto" and first-person shooters such as "Call of Duty" — two of the most popular games ever made — ushered in a new reality, a reality that fetishizes violence, murder, blood and gore.
These games have desensitized our children and have glorified the horrors of war and gang violence. They promote these violent extremes as a mere novelty to have fun. It's time for parents and society to ask, is this what we want our children to be consuming on a regular basis? Are we prepared for the continued negative consequences that may come as a result?
There is a reason our kids are becoming more aggressive and violent toward one another and even toward their own parents. Exposing children to a constant tirade of violence poses a serious risk.

Reporter on the Ground: Putin’s War Is Going According to Plan, and Russia Is WINNING
“Truth is the first casualty of war,” the apocryphal saying goes. This certainly appears the case with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, too. On the one hand, most media reportage holds that Vladimir Putin’s forces are poorly and under-equipped, ineffective, demoralized, are sometimes sabotaging their own military, and that Ukraine is wounding the Bear mightily. A good example is a new Foreign Affairs article titled “Putin Is Going to Lose His War.”
On the other hand, Colonel Douglas Macgregor (ret.), a highly credible source, speaks for a minority of voices in maintaining that all the billions in weaponry the United States is sending to Ukraine won’t change the outcome — Putin is going win his war. So the truth is hard to ferret out. But now a voice from the front lines, so to speak, lends credence to the latter position:
Russia’s campaign is going according to plan, media propaganda to the contrary notwithstanding.

Memorial Day — The REAL ‘Inglourious Basterds’
Yes, Quentin Tarantino intentionally misspelled “Inglourious Basterds,” the title of his 2009 fictional film about the recruitment of Jews for a U.S. Army commando platoon led by Lt. Aldo “The Apache” Raine, whose mission was to kill Nazis. Raine is a Smoky Mountain bootlegger — which is to say, a kindred spirit. He tells his recruits: “Once we’re in enemy territory, as a bushwhackin’ guerrilla army, we’re going to be doing one thing, and one thing only, killin’ Nazis! … They’re the foot soldiers of a Jew-hatin’, mass murderin’ maniac and they need to be destroyed.”
Among his recruits are Sgt. Donny “The Bear Jew” Donowitz, Cpl. Wilhelm Wicki, and a German defector, Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz — all of whom excel at killing Nazis. As Raine says to one of his Nazi prisoners before his demise, “We ain’t in the prisoner-takin’ business, we in the killin’ Nazi business, and cousin, business is a-boomin’!” Their adversary is SS Col. Hans Landa, who is tasked with tracking down Raine’s commandos. For his trouble, he ends up with Raine’s trademark inscription on his forehead — a carved swastika that forces him to bear that shame for life.

Here's Why Democrats Are Optimistic About Their Latest Gun-Grabbing Scheme
With a 50-50 Senate and only a four-seat majority in the House, you’d think Joe Biden and the Democrats wouldn’t take on an anti-Second Amendment push up on the Hill. The Democrats are slated to be shellacked come November. Joe Biden’s approvals are abysmal. There are multiple domestic crises torching American working families. And the economy will be in recession. Democrats opted to engage in a new gun-grabbing scheme in the wake of the awful shooting in Uvalde, Texas. At Robb Elementary School, Salvador Ramos gunned down 19 kids and two teachers before being shot by police. Ramos died in the attack. Gun control pushes in an election cycle that doesn’t favor you isn’t a good strategy, but then again—there is nothing popular about this Democratic Party. Police Botched the Uvalde Standoff. Now Gun Controllers Want to Give Police More Power.
Frustrated onlookers urged police officers to charge into the Texas elementary school where a gunman's rampage killed 19 children and two teachers, witnesses said Wednesday, as investigators worked to track the massacre that lasted upwards of 40 minutes and ended when the 18-year-old shooter was killed by a Border Patrol team.
"Go in there! Go in there!" nearby women shouted at the officers soon after the attack began, said Juan Carranza, 24, who saw the scene from outside his house, across the street from Robb Elementary School in the close-knit town of Uvalde. Carranza said the officers did not go in.

Fact Check: No, overruling Roe v. Wade would not endanger other rights
The establishment media have been giving soapboxes to law professors who claim overruling Roe (pdf) would endanger a string of other SCOTUS precedents. But their alarms demonstrate why you should take most law professors’ pronouncements on controversial issues with not a grain, but a five-pound bag of salt.
For example, on May 12, CBS News ceded Jessica Levinson, a law professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, nearly seven minutes of national airtime so she could warn that overruling Roe would endanger other precedents. I’ve reproduced several of her statements below, with corrections for each.

Stop Letting Our Schools Be Soft Targets for Mass Shooters
The nation has seen yet another tragic mass shooting, this time at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. A gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary School and killed 19 children and two adults, before being slain by a Border Patrol agent. It was the latest in a long line of attacks perpetrated over the past two decades, and, unfortunately, it was only a matter of time before this happened again. As is typical in these situations, the nation is debating gun laws that would not have stopped this travesty, but real solutions remain elusive.
Over 311,000 students have been victimized by gun violence since the shooting at Columbine High School, according to The Washington Post, which also noted: “While school shootings remain rare, there were more in 2021 — 42 — than in any year since at least 1999. So far this year, there have been at least 24 acts of gun violence on K-12 campuses during the school day.”
Given where the numbers stand today, it is conceivable that this problem will only get worse. More of America’s children could be in peril if we fail to take action.
Each time a catastrophe like this occurs, the country debates the gun issue without giving serious consideration to other measures that might save lives if implemented properly. Now is the time to stop quibbling over gun laws and to consider measures that could actually solve the problem.
America needs to harden its schools. Right now.
During past incidents, there have been discussions of employing stronger security measures in school buildings. This is the direction in which the country should proceed. America’s schools should follow the examples of schools in inner cities that apply a variety of methods to minimize the risk of mass shootings.

Nine Ways to Raise Fearful, Unhappy, and Woke Kids (Without Really Trying)
Some surefire tips for raising down-in-the-mouth, doom-and-gloom wokesters who understand early on that the world is a decayed mess.
Most parents want to raise children who take a positive slant on life, who enter adulthood prepared to grapple with new responsibilities, who know in their bones what it means to love and to be loved. They want children who are comfortable with themselves, who look at life as an adventure with obstacles to be overcome, and for whom despair is as foreign a word as kummerspeck, which is German for “grief bacon” and appropriately refers to weight gained while under stress.
But are these healthy goals?
Given the state of today’s world, what if these hopes and aspirations actually damage children, leaving them ill-prepared for tumult, upheaval, and a woke agenda? Would it not be better to raise youngsters who are unhappy with life, depressed like so many Americans and terrified of the future?

- Discuss current events in front of your six-year-old. Bring up abortion, riots, and the war in Ukraine. Climate change in particular is apt to scare the pants off little Johnny and leave him in a state of terror. Knowing that the planet is going to implode because he’s been born will likely induce guilt for the remainder of his days—though that attitude may cost you grandchildren someday.
- Complain constantly about the high price of gas, groceries, and housing. These days, inflation is eating up our dollars like the Cookie Monster gobbling his favorite treats. Gripe about costs, and you’ll raise children who believe they are living in dire poverty. National School Board Association Wanted Military to Crack Down on Concerned Parents
Parental rights in education is not domestic terrorism. Any organization that says otherwise should have no influence over public policy whatsoever.
And yet, in a first draft of a letter to President Joe Biden, the National School Boards Association requested the Army National Guard and military police to monitor parents in school board meetings. Why? Because parents voicing concern about woke curriculum is tantamount to “domestic terrorism.”
When I read that I thought, “This has to be a joke.” The National Guardsmen would die of boredom. Parents are not a threat to national security, and we have a right to have our voices heard.

AUSTIN, TX—As leadership in Texas held a press conference to give updates on the tragic school shooting in Uvalde, candidate for governor Beto O'Rourke took the time to drop by and re
mind everyone he's a giant turd.
"Governor Abbott and people of Texas, my name is Robert Francis, and I am a massive turd," he began. "I am not just a turd but a tool, and a wanker as well! Vote for me this November!"
The bizarre weirdo then began to pass out "VOTE FOR BETO!" campaign literature to the stunned members of the audience.
Several Texas officials angrily stood up and informed O'Rourke that a school shooting press conference was not an appropriate place to remind everyone that he sucks.
"Listen, Beta, we all know you suck, but can we talk about this later? This isn't a good time," said Governor Abbott.
"NO! We shall talk about this RIGHT NOW!" cried O'Rourke, shaking his finger in the air. "The world must know just how much of a steaming pile of crap I am! I will NOT be silent! I'm garbage, I tell you, PURE GARBAGE! And I can do skateboard tricks! Watch!"
O'Rourke then performed a kickflip on a skateboard he had brought with him.

(CNN) Thousands across the country are mourning the loss by the mainstream media of another chance to stoke the white supremacist narrative following another mass shooting yesterday, which turns out was not perpetrated by a CIS-gendered white male as originally hoped.
The new information has devastated the media, sending reporters wallowing in an endless stream of tears and disappointment, since their efforts to exploit another mass shooting had failed.
“We were so excited over initial reports that the shooter was a white guy,” CNN’s Brian Stelter said on his show. “We could’ve exploited the shooting like we always do to lecture Americans about the dangers of whiteness, white supremacy and also push for more gun-control.”

“Clearly, laws work but we just need psychopathic criminals to follow the laws,” Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said. “We are going to pass a new law making those individuals follow the old laws.”
In an address to the nation, President* Biden said that gun control laws work but that we just need to get people to stop breaking them.
“In 1992 passed a law that made school zones gun-free and that worked perfectly. No law-abiding citizens brought guns to school after that. We just need to get the criminals to stop bringing guns to schools to kill people,” Biden said.
