Greetings from NNJR President David Julis

I normally don’t like to repeat myself, but this month I am going to be redundant.

Last month, I talked about getting involved and emphasized the importance of attending our Biennial Convention in Chicago from July 3^rd through July 6th. This is one of the easiest and most important ways of becoming involved. Especially, when we, NNJR, give you financial incentives to attend, thereby reducing your cost to attend. If you are still on the fence, look beyond the financial costs, as you cannot place a cost on the camaraderie, ruach, learning, engagement and Yiddishkeit that you will experience by attending Convention. Join your brothers in Chicago. If you haven’t registered yet, just do it. You won’t regret it. If you are undecided, please feel free to reach out to me. Yasher Koach to all who will be attending.

During the past two years, we have had multiple social activities to bring us all together. Coming up on May 15^th, is our second Go-Kart Racing event. All of you should have received emails about this fun activity. Last year we had over 50 guys attend, and it was a blast! If you haven’t signed up, there is still time to join your brothers for a night of racing, pizza and schmoozing. What could be better? Hope to see many of you there.

We will be holding our next NNJR Regional Board Meeting on Monday, May 5^th at Temple Beth Ahm in Aberdeen. Invites went out, and All Men’s Club Presidents and club members are encouraged to attend. We will be covering our usual board topics and also be having a training session about AI (Artificial Intelligence). I look forward to seeing you there.

You would like some regional officers to attend your Men’s Club Shabbat?

You just want the NNJR leadership to know you’re doing something?

Here’s how you can keep the NNJR Board connected with your Men’s Club activities:

Every club should include the following email forwarding addresses in their mailing list:

president@nnjr.org – Keep the President informed about club events so they may attend if possible.

execvp@nnjr.org – Keep the Executive Vice President informed about club events so they may attend if possible.

communicationsvp@nnjr.org – Keep the Communications Vice President informed about club events so they may add it to this newsletter, etc. to keep other clubs informed.

Furthermore, each club should include the appropriate Rosh email address out of the following:

roshnorth@nnjr.org – For those clubs in the Northern District.

roshcentral@nnjr.org – For those clubs in the Central District.

roshsouth@nnjr.org – For those clubs in the Southern District.

This would be so your Rosh can be informed about club events so they may attend if possible.
