Supervisor Katrina Foley is seeking nominations for the 2nd Annual Women Making A Difference Awards in recognition of Women's History Month in March.
Orange County has a long history of trailblazing women who make a difference in the lives of all of us every day. This event will recognize the women storytellers among us whose significant contributions tell our stories.
This year, the Supervisor wants to recognize women, past and present, active in all forms of media and storytelling including print, radio, TV, stage, film, blogs, podcasts, news, social media, and artists. This timely theme honors women in every community who have devoted their lives and talents to producing art and news, pursuing truth and reflecting society in Orange County decade after decade.
Nominate a woman who has made meaningful contributions in Orange County and who lives in the Fifth District. Nominations must be submitted on or before February 28, 2023.
The awards ceremony will take place during the Second Annual Women History Month Appreciation Brunch on Saturday, March 18 from 10 am to noon. Space is limited, so RSVPs are encouraged.
