General Welfare Assistance Payments

If your name is on this list your check has been returned. The following options are available to receive your check:

Pick-Up:

Please check in with the Member Services Department, located on the first floor of the Gordon Dickie Building in Keshena. Please have a photo ID available. If you do not have an ID, you may purchase a C.I.B. at the Member Services Department for $3.00. Once information is confirmed, checks may be picked up in the Finance Department. You must check in with Member Services first-Finance is closed during the lunch hour. No one is allowed to pick up another individuals check.

Mailed:

If you would like your check mailed to you, please contact Member Services at (715) 799-5121 to update your information. If you opt to have the check mailed, please understand MITW has no control of the internal workflow of the United States Postal Service. Please allow up to ten (10) business days for delivery before calling back.

Please note Tribal members who haven't applied for the $200 General Welfare Assistance Payment have until June 16, 2023. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.

Attention all Candidates of the Menominee Tribal Main Election

It is now time to collect those campaign signs.

Please retrieve all campaign signs,

posters, banners, etc.

by May 12, 2023.

It shall be a violation of this chapter, punishable as provided herein, for any person subject to the jurisdiction of the Tribe to commit the following acts:

§63-22 B (2). Unlawful Campaign Postings:

(2) Any Person who fails to remove his/her poster, sign, banner, or other campaign notice within four months of the Main Election in January shall, upon conviction, forfeit $50 for each violation.
