People come to the library for a number of reasons—to discover something new, to escape with a great story, to meet new people, to simply be a part of the community’s living room. Summer Reading Kickoff Party

Chinese Calligraphy Workshop


We will be offering a free Chinese Calligraphy Workshop on Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m. Join artist Jojo Liu in this live, interactive hour-long session either from home or at the library. Jojo will be teaching traditional Chinese calligraphy basics via Zoom.

World Bee Day


We are partnering with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for a #PlantWildflowers event in celebration of World Bee Day at 2 p.m. on May 22. The grand opening of the campground pollinator garden will be hosted by the Minnesota DNR at the Red River Recreation Area.

Switch it up! Stop by the library from 2-4 p.m. for an afternoon of gaming. Bring your favorite portable device (Nintendo Switch, phone games, etc.) and we'll provide hot beverages and snacks.
