Upcoming Trainings and Events
Learn more about maintaining a healthy balance between work and home improves work performance and personal relationships. Through this 45-minute seminar we will explain the difference between mental distress and mental illness, describe common mood and anxiety disorders and their signs and symptoms and demonstrate effective coping strategies for personal and professional settings.

Caregivers will explore common mental health disorders, learn effective ways to support someone with a mental illness and promote wellness.

With January being Mentorship Month we found it necessary to provide direct access to our professional volunteers through a virtual panel discussion. Our professional volunteers will discuss goal setting, career guidance and engagement, and motivation within the work field. Given their immense experience and eagerness to see our youth and young adults succeed we believe the fireside chat will set you up for success!

Mental Health America of Georgia is proud to introduce you to this week’s “Mental Health Hero” Rebecca Galla-Jones. Rebecca is donating ONE FREE YOGA CLASS from her studio The Yoga Hive in Druid Hills to anyone who makes a donation to Mental Health America of Georgia in the month of January.

We are so excited and grateful to partner with Rebecca for this cause. I had the pleasure of sitting down with her to discuss why she has chosen MHAG to support her gift.
