Happy Mental Health Awareness Month! May is an important yearly reminder to put the focus on mental wellness in our community. The pandemic has created new mental health challenges for us as the social support systems we relied on before became harder to reach. We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that you're never alone. This simple realization can be very powerful. Many others are struggling too and there are support systems and compassionate people available to help us all find healing and strategies for wellness.
