Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) empowers Missouri’s Local Public Health Agencies to recognize and respond to mental health and substance use challenges, strengthening workplace wellbeing and community resilience.

Funding is available by the Missouri Department of Mental Health through the Public Health Infrastructure Grant.

This initiative aims to train 500 LPHA staff by October 2027 to grow healthier communities in Missouri.
