National Children's Mental Health Awareness Week - May 7-13

Did you know mental health is an essential part of children’s overall well-being and plays an important role in both their physical health and ability to succeed in school and society?

An estimated 20 million of our nation’s young people can currently be diagnosed with a mental health disorder. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 1 in 5 U.S. children ages 3–17 has a mental, emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorder.

Together we can make meaningful difference in the lives of our children!

Join us as we strive to:

  • Increase public awareness of the importance of children's mental health & substance use.
  • Reduce stigma surrounding mental health.
  • Connect children & families with resources for prevention & support of mental health disorders.

Five Facts About Children's Mental Health You Should Know
