Hello, As you may know, The City of Peabody has launched Peabody PROMISE, a dedicated website and community task force focused on mental health, anti-bullying initiatives, and suicide prevention. Peabody PROMISE aims to strengthen the support systems and resources available to our community. We're eager to share the progress we’ve made and invite you to join us at the Higgins Middle School auditorium on Monday, December 1st, at 6pm for a community update. All members of the community are welcome and no registration is required. Following the community update, parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend "When To Worry," a free Mental Health Workshop upstairs in the Higgins library at 6:30m. Registration for "When to Worry" is required as space is limited. Register here https://form.jotform.com/252396029449163
Whether you're an active task force action team member, a supporter sharing resources, or simply interested in learning more, your participation is invaluable to the success of Peabody PROMISE. Thank you for your commitment to our community's well-being. We hope to see you on December 1st!
Sincerely, Mayor Ted Bettencourt and the Peabody PROMISE Team
