The 2nd Annual Celebrate Trails event hosted by the MT Trails Foundation in conjunction with the Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation is just around the corner. We invite you to stop by to celebrate our wonderful bike trails as spring approaches!

(Look for tents and balloons in the parking lot by the Ozaukee Interurban Trail)
"Celebrate Trails" was started in 2013 by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, and numerous celebrations are held across the nation on the 4th Saturday of each April. This year, the date of April 22 coincides with Earth Day!
Vendors include:
- Local bike shop vendors, including Wheel & Sprocket and Trailside Bikes
- Bike maintenance and information
- Ebike testing opportunities
- Pet treats by Fromm Foods
- Draft beer from Foxtown Brewery
- Raffles and Giveaways from the Wisconsin Bike Federation
- Coupons from Cafe Hollander and Daily Taco
- Music provided by Gathering on the Green
We will have the ever-popular Ozaukee County bike trail maps as well as updates on the MT Trails Foundation's progress on projects, particularly the Highland Road bike path to Rotary Park!
