ANNUAL AUCTION
The Mercy Auction was a great success on March 26 at Meadowbrook Country Club, raising over $310,000 in support of Mercy. This year’s Principal’s Pick paddle raise supported the renovation of the gym locker room. The locker room is original to our school building. As Principal Sattler stated, In 1964, the #2 song in the United States was the Beatles “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” Dr. Martin Luther King won the Nobel Peace Prize and the Mercy locker room was built! Donors raised $143,350 for this project that evening and the first phase of the locker room project will begin at the end of the month for completion in August.
TEA FOR TUITION
After two years of virtual events, the 18th annual Tea for Tuition took place in person on April 10. Distinguished Alumnae Awards were posthumously presented to the families of Maria Petrella ’77 and Chris-Tia Donaldson ’96. Lindsey Archer ’15 was presented the Trailblazer Alumna Award. To date, over $32,000 has been raised for Tuition Assistance.
