We announced last week that an amazing alumna committed to a match gift of $25,000 that will only be donated if we hit our $150,000 Maroon & Gold Raffle goal! As of today, we are at $147,000 and so close to the finish line. The drawing will be held this Friday, November 4th, so please visit the reception area to get more tickets and have them turned in by Thursday to be included in the drawing.

Latest in Latin Class

Congratulations to Mercy's Latin II class! Last year, they participated in the University of Michigan's Copley Latin Day Contest, along with other students from throughout the state. They created a playlist for the Roman poet Ovid's exile experience, which captured the judges' attention. Their winning entry won $300 worth of Latin novellas and mythology books for Mercy's Latin program. Gratulamur, omnes!

Featured performers include: Mercyaires, Glee and Special Guests: the Mercy Mimes AND Chef Mike Card on the drums, not to mention awesome solos, duets, trios and a quartet! The Catholic High School League is hosting a Detroit Pistons game event on Saturday, November 12 at 7:00pm vs. Boston Celtics. Road Ready Driving School will hold Segment 1 sessions at Mercy every other month. All classes will be in-person, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 3 - 5pm. The schedule will be adjusted for holidays, half days, no school, or other special schedules. Classes are open to Mercy and non-Mercy students.

November 7 - December 1

Classes will be M, W & Th, 3-5pm

No class on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, 11/24. The make-up date will be communicated once the session begins.

The next Segment 1 session will be in January 2023.


Road Ready Driving School will offer a Segment 2 Class in November.
