Meet the Artist Series: Suzan Gannett Procreate Art Classes
Thursdays, May 5, 12 & 19, 6:30PM. Registration is required and is limited to 10 people. Sponsored by LCA, IMLS’ “Grants to States” program, and the Friends of the Meredith Library.
Suzan Gannett is a multi-media artist who uses the app Procreate on her iPad to create beautiful work. She will explain how the program works and the variety of techniques it offers. Her work can be viewed at suzangannettcreations.com and some of it is currently on exhibit in the library’s Function Room.

Meet the Artist Series: Janet Sanguedolce
Thursday, June 2 at 6:00PM
Please join Janet Sanguedolce for her presentation on Encaustic Art, an ancient medium in which the artist creates the work with colored pigments added to hot beeswax
Sanguedolce studied art at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, where she developed a love for pottery and Clark College in Dubuque, Iowa, where the visual arts took hold. She is an adjunct professor at Plymouth State College. Her work is on display at the library from May 9-June 7. janetsanguedolce.com

Catch the wave this summer with Oceans of Possibilities! Join us this summer for lots of stories, events and crafts! Lets make sand in bottles, paint lighthouses, and learn about sea life. Sign-up for summer reading and get your reading log. Fill your reading log, return it to the children’s room and shop in the Seashell Shop. Lots of raffles and lots of fun. Home Delivery from Altrusa
The library partners with the Altrusa Club to provide Home Delivery service to home bound library patrons. Contact cherie@meredithlibrary.org to set up the service. Items are picked up and delivered every two weeks by the Altrusa Club.
