Dear Community,
Meridian will suspend normal school operations through April 3. This includes all activities and events scheduled during and outside of school hours. It is likely that this period will be extended and we will let families know no later than Monday, March 30 so that you are able to plan accordingly.
We are committed to providing continuity of instructional support for all of our students, including those receiving special education services. Over the next week, Meridian's leadership team will outline plans for distance learning.
On Thursday of this week, more information will be sent to parents via email. We know you have questions and concerns, but please understand that our staff is unable to answer individual emails at this time due to planning. Please continue to read all communications coming from the school. This will include, but is not limited to: content delivery, meal service, details regarding special education needs, and information from the nurse with instruction for picking up medication that was left over the break.
Thank you for your patience during this difficult time, and for doing your part to keep our community as safe and healthy as possible. The well-being of our community is of the utmost importance, and we are committed to doing our part during this unparalleled global pandemic, which will include providing a quality education to all of our students.
