MERIT LAUNCHES NEW WELLNESS INITIATIVE

Two weeks ag o, we shared the news on our social media channels announcing Merit’s Mental Health/Wellness Strategy. In addition to our Employee Family Assistance Program, this initiative will include a new virtual mental health platform that includes online counselling, training for human resources and managers, and a formal program with an internationally renowned post-secondary institution to provide a mental health leadership certification. And the best part – this is offered at NO ADDITIONAL COST to Merit Contractors Association/Merit National members.

Participants will be introduced to the OHS Act, regulations, code, and administrative penalties. Exercises are designed so the learner becomes comfortable with the OHS handbook’s layout and how to navigate its' content.

This online course provides information that will prepare you to handle situations that you may encounter when working, hunting, camping, or travelling in bear country.
