Merit is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Claudia Flack, a beloved member of the piano faculty. Claudia courageously battled cancer for the past several years and only recently had to step away from teaching.
Hired in 2010, Claudia taught in Merit's
P
rivate
L
esson, Instrumental & Vocal Music, and
Merit Music in Communities
Programs. Her time with Merit allowed her to leave a positive and impactful impression on her students and all who had the pleasure to work with her.
Claudia's obituary and additional details can be viewed online. Merit
extends condolences to Claudia's family. We
will miss her greatly and will always remember the love she had for teaching and her students.
