Washingtonia Digitization Project

The Merrill Library on the University of Maine-Machias campus is pleased to announce collaboration with the Fogler Library at the University of Maine to digitize the Washingtonia, the UMM yearbook and newsletters spanning 1910 through 1999. You can now view and download the first ten issues of the Washingtonia – 1910 through 1913 – from the Digital Commons tab on the library’s website here. This is a work in progress, and we will be adding succeeding issues as they are digitized. So, stay tuned!

University of Maine at Machias Special Collections contains the newsletters and yearbooks of the University of Maine at Machias as well as its precursors: Washington State Normal School (1910-1952), Washington State Teachers College (1952-1969), Washington State College of the University of Maine, Machias Maine (1970), and University of Maine at Machias (1971-1999).
