New Catalog and Search Experience Coming Soon!

The University of Maine System Libraries are changing how the library catalog looks and how you will search for resources in summer 2024.

The new system will:

  • Feature an enhanced user interface to replace the current Summon (OneSearch) discovery platform and Classic Catalog (URSUS), and
  • Be called LibrarySearch (to replace OneSearch)

The launch date is expected to be mid-June 2024.

Thank you for your patience as we make this transition.

Stay tuned for updates!

Washingtonia Digitization Project

The Merrill Library on the University of Maine-Machias campus is pleased to announce that additional issues of the Washingtonia have been digitized and are now available to view and download on the Digital Commons tab on the library’s website here. Issues from 1910 through 1928 are now available.

This work is a collaboration with the Fogler Library at the University of Maine. This is a work in progress, and we will be adding succeeding issues as they are digitized. So, stay tuned!
