Sower of the Seed Food Pantry won the Festival of Trees contest at the community center! Our Chamber of Commerce was able to raise more than $1400 for our Boays and Girls Club.

Money donated at the Sea Hag Trash Tournament and from other gracious persons, allowed books to be delivered to all the classes at the Steinhatchee School. The National Geographic special on September 11th was a huge hit! The kids started asking a lot of questions to their parents.

We missed out on posting this last week, but the Eggnog Open Fishing Tournament included army men in their tournament as a reminder to pray for our service men & women!

HELP SUPPORT THE SEA HAG BOOK DRIVE

The Sea Hag’s Steinhatchee School Book Drive set a goal of $2500 each school year which will allow us to provide a book every month to every student at the Steinhatchee School. These books will count towards credit in class and towards their AR reading program. The students will also be able to keep these books allowing them to take them home to share with their family. We must say thank you to our great community who raised $1251 towards this goal at the Sea Hag Trash Tournament (plus we cleaned up the town and the shorelines). We already excitedly purchased 129 books for the month of October. If you would like to donate money to the purchasing of books for the Steinhatchee School classrooms through our drive, click the LINK BELOW which will lead you to a place to donate to our Scholastic Book Club account.

We've Got Books!

Sea Hag Marina ordered the first round of books for our kids at the Steinhatchee School! The kids were so excited to be able to take the books home and keep them. We are asking you all to help us continue this awesome service for the school!
