A Very Merry Cathy Update

I love Christmas! It really is my favorite holiday, and this year it has a whole new and very special meaning.

As we shared in our last special bulletin just a few weeks ago, Cathy’s heart stopped. I am very thankful that I was right there, trained in CPR, and was able to be her heart until the paramedics arrived. and provided the necessary electrical shock to bring Cathy back. Cathy is now on the mend! For both of us, I want to thank everyone who has been praying and wishing her well.

One of my favorite bible verses is John 10:10 - "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." My hope for you is that you have that full and abundant life through Jesus Christ who is what Christmas is all about. He is the heart of Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you and your families, and a Happy New Year from both of us!

And in the same region, there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear.
And the angel said to them,
"Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David
a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
And this will be a sign for you:
you will find a Baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger."
And suddenly there was, with the angel,
a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased!"
