This is a great opportunity for co-workers, family, and friends. Do you belong to a group that would be interested in helping?

To receive one of our kid's lists, please contact Andrea Watkins at 770-333-9447 x116 or [email protected].

A Thanksgiving to Remember

AIS Food & Supply Drive

The Atlanta International School held a food and supply drive for CCYA the week of Thanksgiving. We were in awe of their generosity and the abundance of items that were delivered throughout the day. Each time the doorbell rang, we thought it was the last delivery, but they kept on coming! Each delivery included special notes and blessings. We are so grateful for community partnerships like this one.

Breakthrough Fellowship Church hosted our CCYA family for Thanksgiving Lunch. The kids and staff all jumped in the vans to head over to the church to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey, all the trimmings, and dessert. The girls helped transform the church into a dining room for the event. They showed football games on the big projector screen, and the kids danced and enjoyed the time they spent with parishioners. Thank you so much Breakthrough Fellowship Church!

Sope Creek Elementary Wears
PJ's for CCYA

What a perfect way to raise money while having fun! Sope Creek Elementary organized a fundraiser with their students. The kids donated a dollar to CCYA so they could wear their pajamas to school. We saw everything from Ninja Turtles to Hello Kitty! Collaboratively teachers and students raised a total of $1,380.30!!!! We were so touched by all the kids and their reactions when the classroom representative began bringing in the donations. A special thank you to Principal Martha Whalen for her support and fourth grade teacher Susan Jenkins for helping the kids organize the fundraiser. Thank you Sope Creek for your Community Partnership!

If you are interested in organizing a Pajama Day at your school please contact Andrea Watkins, Director of Marketing & Fund Development at [email protected] or 770-333-9447 ext.116.

Georgians are Generous People

Thank you to all of our supporters who donated on
Georgia Gives Day! We raised over $8,000 for the kids living here at The Center for Children & Young Adults. November 13th was Georgia Gives Day. Together Georgians supported the organizations and causes in their own backyard. Whether you gave $10 or $100, it all adds up and certainly did for CCYA! The generosity of our community impacts what we do for the kids that live here and we are grateful. Although it was GA Gives Day, we also had donations as far as Virginia, Illinois, and Florida! Thank you everyone who helped us to spread the word to their friends and family!
